PUBG MOBILE, the leading mobile game in the Middle East and world, launched an interactive booth at four Egyptian universities: GUC, BUE, CIC and MIU.
The on-ground activations ran between 13th of March – 17th of March, with an extra week of activities for GUC and MIU from the 20th to the 24th. Students got a chance to enjoy exciting games, exclusive prizes as well as thrilling 1 on 1 interactions with the brand.
The activation saw the launch of an online tournament, running from the 20th till the 31st of March. The online tournament resulted in more than 600 registrations, and almost 100 squads and 1,000 players registered. Alongside of the tournament, PUBG MOBILE launched the University Ambassador Program for students to become ambassadors for PUBG MOBILE through community tournaments, campus gathering and workshops. The program rewards to the participating students include UC rewards and branded merchandise from PUBG MOBILE.
In efforts to continue to grow their presence in the Egyptian market, PUBG MOBILE also recently announced the launch of PUBG MOBILE Champions Challenge, the biggest e-sports tournament in Egypt, taking place from the 7th to the 10th of April. Egyptian esports players are competing for a prize pool of $25,000 over the course the tournament. On the final day, players are to enjoy a grand finale live concert by famous Egyptian band Sharmoofers.
PUBG MOBILE continues to show its commitment to fans in Egypt and the Middle East with several collaborations over the past year, including Henedy, Wegz, Enaba, Noor Stars and this year’s collaboration with Saif Nabeel which features exclusive space gifts, avatar, and voice pack.
