Mahmoud El Zenouki: Zinox launches an overseas expansion plan targeting Eastern Europe and the U.S.
Zinox El Zenouki and Master for Household Cookware will participate in Ambiente 2026 in Germany, one of the world’s largest international exhibitions specializing in tableware, cookware, and household products. The exhibition will run from February 6 to 10, 2026, as part of the two companies’ strategy to strengthen their international presence, support export growth, and enter new global markets.
Ambiente as a global platform
Mahmoud El Zenouki, Chief Executive Officer of Zinox El Zenouki and Master for Household Cookware, said that participation in Ambiente represents a pivotal milestone within the companies’ international expansion strategy. He noted that the exhibition is a leading global platform for showcasing the latest innovations in cookware and household products, bringing together major international brands, manufacturers, importers, and distributors from around the world.
Presence at major international exhibitions
El Zenouki added that the two companies are keen to maintain a consistent presence at major international trade fairs, with Ambiente at the forefront, given its role in enabling direct engagement with leading importers, distributors, and business partners, while highlighting their manufacturing capabilities and product quality that now competes with global brands.
Zinox El Zenouki product portfolio
He explained that Zinox El Zenouki will showcase its latest collections of stainless-steel cookware during the exhibition, combining high durability with modern design, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety to meet the requirements of European and international markets.
Master’s latest innovations
Master for Household Cookware, meanwhile, will present its newest innovations in cast cookware, with a focus on practical, user-centric solutions designed for everyday use and aligned with the needs of modern kitchens. El-Zenouki emphasized that continuous development in design and technology remains a core pillar of both companies’ product philosophy.
Export growth and brand positioning
El Zenouki stressed that participation in Ambiente 2026 is not a first-time experience, but this edition comes within a broader and more comprehensive expansion vision aimed at building a strong international brand image for Egyptian manufacturers and opening new export channels.
Competing alongside global brands
He noted that Ambiente is one of the largest specialized exhibitions in the sector, alongside major trade fairs in China and Turkey, attracting thousands of visitors including major traders, buyers, and suppliers of raw materials and industrial inputs. This global exposure places the Egyptian brands alongside leading international names, directly enhancing brand visibility and global market value.
Target markets for 2026
Regarding expansion plans for 2026, El Zenouki stated that the focus is on opening new export markets not only across Europe, but also in other regions, most notably the U.S. market. He highlighted that current global developments related to tariffs and U.S. trade policies have created competitive opportunities for Egyptian products compared with Chinese and some European alternatives, particularly in terms of value for money and quality-to-price balance.
Opportunities in Eastern Europe
He also pointed out that Eastern European markets represent a promising opportunity, given the alignment in product preferences, price segments, and the size of these markets, while additional regions are being evaluated based on product characteristics and target consumer segments.
Annual hub for partnerships
El Zenouki added that the exhibition also serves as an annual meeting hub, with intensive discussions held on the sidelines with existing and potential clients, both during and beyond exhibition hours. This creates opportunities to present new products, review recent developments, strengthen relationships with current partners, and establish new long-term commercial partnerships.
Showcasing Egyptian industry globally
Concluding his remarks, El Zenouki said: “We firmly believe that Egyptian industry has the capacity to compete strongly on the global stage. Participation in major international exhibitions represents a real opportunity to highlight this progress and convey a professional image of Egyptian products in the household cookware sector, building on the results of our participation in the coming phase.”
